We Protect Cows

In Hinduism, the cow has been given the status of a mother. Gaumata gives you her milk but when she gets old, she is sent to slaughterhouses or left on streets to be chased by dogs and hit by careless drivers so it is our duty to protect Gautama.

We Save Lives

Helping the needy is the best way to worship God. We here at Shriram goshala Seva Samithi operate a hospital situated in a remote village whose objective is to provide health care to everyone in need. Human or Animal, no one is ever denied.

Our Vision

Shriram goshala Seva Samithi operates a goshala and a hospital. Our vision is to help as many abandoned cows as possible, treat as many diseased as possible and make this organization self-sustainable.

How And Why Did It Start?

The widespread and merciless thar desert in Rajasthan is a harsh place to live. The scarcity of water is evident in Rajasthan. This area is particularly tough on abandoned animals, whose owners cannot afford to keep them anymore and thus abandoned. The villages are far away and basic medical facilities are also not available. Shriram goshala was established with a core idea to save those poor animals. Later, Shriram goshala started a hospital to help those in need.

She is Kamadhenu – the divine cow that fulfills all our desires. Her body is of cow and face is of a woman. She was born before the amrutha when the ocean was churned. Her hair exudes the fragrance. From her udder, she showers Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha. She is an abode to self-knowledge, shelters, Sun, Moon and Fire God. All the Gods and the living beings depend on her. She provides us with food and supreme knowledge even when we mildly pray. Let her be near us.

AtharvaVeda

Donation of cows is superior to all others. Cows are supreme and sacred.

Mahabharata
Anushasana Parva 83-3

Cows are the abode of the Goddess of wealth. Sins don’t touch them. There exists a fine relationship between man and cow. A home without a cow is like one without dear ones.
